Client Preparation

Let’s get your project ready.

This page explains how work begins, so nothing is a surprise. It is general preparation information only — no forms, files, payments, or signatures are collected here. Nicole sends every agreement, intake form, and payment instruction to you directly.

Path One

Coaching sessions

  1. 01Receive and review the tailored agreement for your session.
  2. 02Arrange payment using the instructions Nicole sends.
  3. 03Complete the short intake so paid time is spent on decisions and building.
  4. 04Confirm the Zoom appointment.

Path Two

Done-for-you prototype projects

  1. 01Complete discovery together.
  2. 02Agree on a written Statement of Work and the project agreement.
  3. 03Pay the 50% project initiation payment.
  4. 04Kickoff and build against the agreed scope.
  5. 05One consolidated revision round.
  6. 06Written acceptance of the deliverable.
  7. 07Remaining 50% is due before handoff.
  8. 08You have 14 calendar days after handoff to report agreed-scope defects. Defects reported inside that window remain eligible for correction, even if the fix itself lands later.

Improvements, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance are quoted separately. Hosting, platform fees, paid APIs, production hardening, compliance review, and ongoing support are not included unless stated in your Statement of Work.

How to Prepare

Bring these to your first meeting.

  • A laptop and the ability to share your screen.
  • One educational problem you want to work on.
  • Fictional sample data only.
  • Links and assets you have permission to use.
  • Collaborator access to any tool we need — never shared passwords.

Scheduling

Appointments are generally offered Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30–9:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, America/New_York, subject to actual availability.

Recording & Portfolio

Recording a session and permission to feature your project in a portfolio are both optional and are not granted by booking. Either one is arranged separately and in writing.

Your signed agreement and Statement of Work govern your project.
